It was a beautiful fall day on Monday, September 9th when Jordan Benes took to the course at Youngstown Country Club for the inaugural Playing for Pletch golf outing. This event was organized in memory of Don Pletcher, better known as Coach Pletch, to the many players on his baseball and football teams over the last 50 years of coaching youth sports. Jordan has been friends with the Pletcher family for over 25 of those years and was coached by Coach Pletch as a kid.
The golf outing raised funds for the Playing for Pletch Foundation, a 501©3 organization that supports Youngstown/Hermitage-area children in need with things like playing equipment and league entry fees. Don would never want anyone to miss out on playing the sports he loved. White Blaze Wealth Management was pleased to be a sponsor of this event and support this worthwhile cause!
