Golfers took to the links at Youngstown Country Club on Tuesday, September 9th, for the second annual Playing for Pletch golf outing. This event was organized in memory of Don Pletcher, better known as Coach Pletch, for the many players on his baseball and football teams throughout his 50 years of coaching youth sports.
The golf outing raised funds for the Playing for Pletch Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) organization that supports Youngstown/Hermitage-area children in need with items such as playing equipment and league entry fees. Formed after the untimely passing of Jordan’s childhood coach and family friend, Coach Pletch, Playing for Pletch celebrates youth sports and ensures that kids in need can get involved with youth sports. White Blaze Wealth Management was pleased to be a sponsor of this event again this year!
