Last month, Bob Heksch, Kyle Heksch, Jordan Benes, and Mark Ventura traveled to Chicago, IL for FPA Investor Day 2024. This 2-day conference is put on by First Pacific Advisors (FPA), a Los Angeles-based money management firm. It was an opportunity to hear directly from FPA’s investment team about their thinking and investment strategy in today’s market. At White Blaze Wealth Management, we value spending significant time studying our investments and doing hands-on research.
This event included commentary by FPA Portfolio Managers, Steven Romick, Brian Selmo, and Abhijeet Patwardhan. We also had the opportunity to engage in interesting conversations and ask in-depth questions to thoroughly understand FPA’s current investment philosophy.
Also, while in the windy city, our team enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Gibson’s Steakhouse with the FPA portfolio management team.
